BUTTE VALLEY, CA – Shane Dunning’s memorial roping was held Feb. 22 at Norm Witt’s Saddle Creek Ranch. Shane’s wife, Dena, did a great job of getting it together, with a lot of good people helping by bringing food for the potluck. A lot of friends and family were on hand, including Dena, Shane’s daughter Shelby, as well as his nephew and stepmom. The Parker family brought food to share and two big shop heaters to keep the area warm. Special thanks to all the buckle and knife sponsors. Results of the roping are as follows; payoffs are per man:
