It seems the older I get, the more I realize how little I know. Twenty years ago, when I was 23, I was pretty sure I had it all figured out. Now I’m quite sure I don’t have anything figured out. And if I live to be as old as I want to, well there’s no telling how dumb I’ll be by then.
My boys were given compound bows for Christmas by a family friend and have spent a few hours shooting at targets. They came in the other day and said they wanted to compete at a 4H archery competition. There was going to be a barbeque afterwards and it would be for one day, maybe two.
We’re here in Vegas during the NFR and Jennifer and I are having a blast doing our nightly show, “The Draw,” at the MGM Hollywood Theater. We’ve had some great guests and it’s been a lot of fun.
We will soon be heading to Las Vegas for NFR. The “little” show Jennifer and I are hosting at the MGM is growing more than we ever expected. “The Draw” will be held in the Hollywood Theater at the MGM from 6 – 6:30 p.m. every night before the live telecast of the rodeo. Each night we will talk about the stock drawn and whose horses are working, in addition to having guests on the show. Wrangler has picked up the show for their webcast and they have over a million followers. We’re both very excited and expect it will be a lot of fun.
