Reed Welch, 35, of Oakdale, Calif., passed away on September 1, 2013.
The memorial service was held Sept. 7th at The Reata in Oakdale. Reverend John Roberts of St. Matthias Church officiated.
Reed was born in Oakdale, California on August 22, 1978. He graduated from Oakdale High School and after graduation he continued to follow the Welch family legacy with raising cattle.
Reed was married to Heather L. Welch (Gilbert) February 4, 2012.
Reed worked at Turlock Livestock Auction Yards (TLAY) as a representative. He enjoyed working his own cattle herd and helping other cattle ranchers with their herds. He was actively involved with La Grange Rodeo Association for many years.
Reed is survived by his wife Heather Welch; his father Joseph Welch, his mother and stepfather Debra and Rob Dickerson; his brother, Rodney Welch and his sisters Rachel Welch and Alisa and Alivia Dickerson and his stepbrother Justin Dickerson.
