1941 - 2016
WILLOW PARK, TEXAS – Dr. Richard “Dick” Hall Galley of Willow Park returned to his heavenly home Monday, March 14, 2016, at the age of 74.
Dr. Galley wrote his very informative column “Vet’s View” for Ropers Sports News from 2012-2013.
Dick was born to the late Robert and Mary Galley in Casper, Wyo., on Oct. 22, 1941. He married his wife, Sherida, on March 22, 1976. He was a captain in the Army and an equine veterinarian.
Dr. Galley’s survivors include wife Sherida; son Bill; grandsons Braden and Trevor; daughter Jaedeanne; and granddaughter Ruby.
Memorial services were held at Parker County Cowboy Church March 18. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in his memory to Parker County Cowboy Church, 5050 S. FM 5, Aledo, TX 76008; or Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group at Aledo United Methodist Church, 100 Pecan Dr., Aledo, TX 76008.
