Gilbert A. Reynolds, 77, died Feb. 25 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born in Luna, N.M. to Abraham Owen and Fanny Letta (Jepson) Reynolds. As a young boy he grew up on the family’s homestead in Luna. Later they moved to Mesa, Arizona where he attended school.
Gilbert traveled from rodeo to rodeo along the western states as a PRCA member his entire life and was a two-time competitor at the National Finals in Oklahoma City. He partnered with Nicky Nichols in 1967 and in 1971 with Gene Ray Ward. He was a cattleman and horse breeder and was known best for his stud horse, Frostys Tops.
FALLON, NEV. — Rachel Christina Hendrix, age 18, passed away unexpectedly on January 26, 2014 near Cedar City, Utah. She was born May 26, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nev. to Clay and Annette Heinicke Hendrix. Rachel graduated with honors in 2013 from Churchill County High School and was a student at Southern Utah University. She was also the 2012 NSHSR all around cowgirl.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CALIF. — On January 31, 2014 Roxy Freeman passed away at French hospital in San Luis Obispo due to complications from two strokes she suffered a month apart. Roxy was born December 2, 1942 in Coalinga, Calif. to parents Walt and Gerry Freeman. She is survived by her only son Monty Shea McIntosh and great-aunt Mary Rasmussen. Roxy’s life cannot be summarized in this brief article. There are far too many things she accomplished for them all to be listed here. I will do my best to highlight what she would have wanted her friends to know, and what she would have wanted to be remembered for.
VISALIA, CALIF. — Clarence James (C.J.) Ritchie passed away Dec. 26, 2013 at the age of 87.
HENRYETTA, OKLA. – Daniel M. “Dan” Russell passed away from a heart attack at his home near Henryetta, Oklahoma on Dec. 29, 2013. He was born March 13, 1952, in Sacramento, Calif.
