VonTour, Stewart High Money Ropers At Maddalena Memorial

SIERRAVILLE, CALIF. – The 14th Annual Steve Maddalena Memorial Roping was held July 31 and August 1 at the historic Sierra Valley Roping Club Arena.
Numbers were down a bit on Saturday as the Dixie Fire made it difficult for some ropers to attend as well as rumors that the roping had been canceled. Sunday’s numbers picked up and overall it was a great roping.
Denise VonTour and Cody Stewart took home the trophy guns as the high money header and heeler. Denise also added a buckle to her stash with the win of the Elliott Dow Memorial along with Ty Morrill.
Brayden Grashius and Noah Williams won the buckles for the win of the Steve Maddalena four steer. SVRC would like to thank all the ropers for their support and making the roping so much fun. Also, a shout-out to Jake Barnes for roping with us.
