The ACTRA team roping took center stage on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1. The turnout was huge with over 660 teams competing. Buckles were awarded to the winners of the #4 Roping and they went to Tess Turk and Jackie Sceirine with a time of 28.23 on three head. They also won $975 each. July 2 and 3 saw the Ranch Rodeo competition with the Open Division Championship going to the Deadman Ranch. Team members were Trevor Carrasco, Danny Leslie, Chance Machado and Austin Carrasco. They won $5,940, Cactus saddle pads, Yeti Loadout 5-gallon buckets and Dri Duck champion jackets. The Women’s Open Division Championship went to the Bar 90 team consisting of Taylor Hurley, Josie Perreira, Tatum Hurley and Stacey Schmidt. The team won $5,860, Cactus saddle pads, Yeti Loadout 5-gallon buckets and Dri Duck champion jackets. Ranch Rodeo event winners were as follows: Team Roping: Los Cazadores.
