We were up against a World Series roping in Winnemucca, and numerous other competing events that seem to give folks more and more options, so we opened up for an add-on open draw pot at the end of the day on Saturday to get folks to the fantastic tri-tip dinner by the Loyalton FFA. Everyone in attendance had a great time, and we had a lot of newcomers who said they’ll be back next year. Cody Stewart and Logan Anseth were this year’s winners of the Steve Maddalena Memor ial buckles wi th a time of 27.49 on 4 with their handicap for $474 per man and buckles.
