Linda VanArtsdalen, age 70, of Escalon, California, passed away January 22 after having just been diagnosed with cancer. Linda was the wife of team roper Frank VanArtsdalen and mother to three daughters, Corrin Cresci, Kim Smoot, Janell Percey and step-mom to Thom VanArtsdalen. She was ‘Gigi’ to nine grandchildren and one great grandchild, with three more “greats” coming in 2020. A celebration of life service was held in January at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds.
