Debbie L. (Stuart) Burner, beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend, went to Heaven on December 12, 2012, at the age of 55.

Debbie was born in Tulare, Calif., on July 30, 1957. She called Tulare “home” her entire life, and had hundreds of friends both in her hometown and all around the country. She never knew a stranger, as she made friends wherever she went.

Along with her husband, Mark, who is a team roper, Debbie was very involved in the roping and rodeo community. For years they travelled across the United States to attend ropings and conduct Cowboy Church. Debbie was a true animal lover and had many pets of her own including horses, dogs, goats, and her beloved kitty, Dafnee Violet.

She was incredibly creative and talented. She had an amazing smile and laugh that made everyone around her feel welcomed and at ease. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Debbie was greeted in Heaven by her son, Justin Rising; her father, Barry Stuart; and her grandparents.

She is survived by her husband Mark Burner; daughter Jenna (Bryan) Dunlop; mother Marion Stuart; brother Mike (Theresa) Stuart; sister Lori (Gary) Stuart Bernard; two stepdaughters, Jasmine Statham and Jenifer Nelson; five grandchildren, one niece and five nephews.

While her family and friends are mourning a great loss, they take comfort knowing Debbie is rejoicing in Heaven with her God and celebrating the long-awaited reunion with her son Justin, and her father Barry.

Graveside services were held Dec. 19, 2012, at Tulare District Cemetery in Tulare. Arrangements were entrusted to Miller’s Tulare Funeral Home.
