Producer George Aros presents. CASA GRANDE, ARIZONA – The annual Mike Cervi Jr. Memorial Pro Classic took place on February 21 at the Casa Grande Rodeo Grounds. Entry fees are $400 per man, enter three times. Clay Smith and Coleby Payne took the top spot with a time of 31.54 seconds on five steers to split $40,000. Payne also hit the pay window for a second time heeling for Bubba Buckaloo to pick up an additional $11,655 for a $31,000 plus payday. Cory Petska’s horse won the best heel horse of the day and Pedro Agurola won best head horse. Both were awarded Hoover bits. The 12th annual Pro-Am Roping was held prior to the Open Classic and this year’s winners were Header, Roland Warren with Brock Hanson heeling for him and Heeler, Edgardo Esquer with Cody Snow spinning for him.
