The American Cowboys Team Roping Association is proud to announce that Silver Legacy Resort Casino and Circus Circus Reno have been named the official host hotels for the 2026 through 2028 Wrangler/Professional’s Choice ACTRA National Finals.
For more than three decades, Reno has been home to the ACTRA National Finals, and this partnership builds on that tradition while creating an even better experience for our members, families, vendors and sponsors.
ACTRA representatives met with The ROW management team during the organization’s winter board meeting at Silver Legacy to celebrate the new partnership and begin planning for the upcoming National Finals. Silver Legacy and Circus Circus offer ACTRA members two excellent lodging choices, convenient downtown locations and easy access to dining, entertainment and activities for the entire family.
“We are excited to welcome Silver Legacy and Circus Circus as the host hotels for the ACTRA National Finals,” said ACTRA President J.T. Bradley. “Our Finals bring ACTRA members and their families to Reno from across the western United States and Hawaii, and this partnership will help us continue providing them with a great experience both inside and outside the arena.”
ACTRA also recently participated in the Reno Rodeo Expo, where the association’s booth promoted the 2026 National Finals, ACTRA membership, vendor opportunities and the many benefits of becoming part of the ACTRA family. The Expo gave ACTRA an opportunity to visit with team ropers, western industry partners and rodeo fans throughout the Reno Rodeo.
A New Name for a Familiar Home
The longtime home of the ACTRA National Finals, formerly known as the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center, is now named the Nevada State Fairgrounds. ACTRA is proud to continue its longstanding relationship with the facility and the Reno community. The Nevada State Fairgrounds will once again welcome ACTRA members, families, and spectators for eight days of team roping competition, awards, and shopping.
National Finals Stall Reservations
New for 2026 is the introduction of Open Stalls. Members will be able to reserve and pay for stalls before arriving in Reno, making the reservation and check-in process faster and more convenient.
The 44th Annual Wrangler/Professional’s Choice ACTRA National Finals promises another week of outstanding team roping, great competition, western hospitality, and unforgettable memories. ACTRA looks forward to welcoming members and their families back to Reno this October.
