Bar 7S Holds Thanksgiving
Team Roping At B Bar Arena

The Bar 7S Arena held the 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Weekend Roping at B Bar Arena in Sheridan, Calif. Nov. 25-27, 2011. It was a success with 550 teams participating. Prizes were awarded in three different number categories: #1-1.5, #2-2.5, and #3/over. Scott Thomas saddles were won by John Myers, #1-1.5; J.T. Bradley, #2-2.5; and Shawn Manning #3/over. This was John Myers’ first saddle win.
Gist buckles went to Wayne Grist, #1-1.5; Steve Utterback, #2-2.5; and Jeff Begovich, #3/over.
Cactus breast collars went to Hayle Gibson, #1-1.5; Dan Ledford, #2-2.5; and Ty Morrill, #3/over.
Cactus halters were awarded to Becky Mendonza, #1-1.5; Brad McGillchrist, #2-2.5; and Joe McGill, #3/over.
We want to thank everyone who helped at the roping and all of the participants. We also want to thank the Bowers for the use of their beautiful B Bar facility.
