BRIDGEPORT, CALIF. – After a one year hiatus due to COVID, the Bridgeport 4th of July Ranch Rodeo was back with a vengeance.
Thanks to all the great support and sponsors, over $29,000 was paid to the average winners and a truckload of awards was given out. This event took place on July 2nd and 3rd at the Centennial Livestock Arena.
There were 25 open teams entered and eight in the women’s division.
The Deadman Ranch with 59.5 total points won the Open division taking home $6,752 in cash, YETI coolers, Cactus Saddlery pads and Resistol hat certificates.
Diamond Y Bar Ranch won the Women’s Division with 58 points winning $3,600, Yeti coolers, Cactus Pads and Resistol hat certificates.

1. 59.5 points-Deadman Ranch (Austin and Trevor Carasco, Danny Leslie and Chance Machado) split $6,752. 2. 40 points-Hay Balers (John Chavez, Dugan Kelly, Cash Robinson and Will Centoni) split $5,624. 3. 33.5 points- Spring Ranch (Lee Whitney, Frankie Martinez, Sterling Humphry and Jake Bourdet). 4/5. split, 33 points-HR Cattle (Lila Bell, Dawson Bell, Cade Bell and Twyster Hurley), Jepson Livestock (Russell Funk, Jacob McKay, Jake Ward and Garrett Jepson) and Vineyard Mountain Ranch (Pat Boyle, Nathan Sanders, Jeremy Pinheiro and Kelly Barker). All three teams split $5,628.
WOMEN’S DIVISION:
1. 58 points-Diamond Y Bar (Bailey Bidwell, Payton Feyder, Noel Lambert and Kylie Askew) $3,600. 2. 52 points- Coasties (Allison Grantham, Ali Bilkey, Brooke Jackson and Marcey Chavez) $2,160. 3. 45 points-The A Team (Summer Tex, Jessica Cardon, Leanne Reed and Tierney Van Note) $1,440.

Ranch Saddle Bronc Winner: Cahl Williams scored 83 point winning a buckle sponsored by Cowboy Flavor
Backwards Team Roping Winners: Vineyard Mountain Ranch (Pat Boyle, Nathan Sanders, Jeremy Pinheiro and Kelly Barker) with a time of 23:57, winning buckles sponsored by Growlers Eatery, Twin Lakes Resort, Bridgeport Inn and The Walker River Lodge.
Ranch Doctoring Winners: Diamond Y Bar (Bailey Bidwell, Payton Feyder, Noel Lambert and Kylie Askew) with a time of 45:22, winning custom Cactus Headstalls.
Trailer Loading Winners: Deadman Ranch (Austin and Trevor Carasco, Danny Leslie and Chance Machado) time of 1:10:50 loading three head and won custom Cactus Halters.
