ACTON & FILLMORE, CALIF. – Vincent Hill Arena in Acton held ropings March 8, 14 & 28. Fillmore Roping Club held their roping on March 21.
Cactus trophy saddle pads were awarded to the high money winner each day. The winner on March 8 was Mitch Jacobs; March 14 and 21, Steve Freed; and March 28, Jason Gruber.
The Saddle Series was very exciting. It was a close race in the #2 & under between Regina Christensen and Mitch Jacobs, but after all the points were tallied the winner was Regina. The #2.5 & over saddle was won by Steve Freed – by a large margin!
