Chuck Jon Biglow was born December 25, 1939, in Antioch, Calif. to Harold and Marian Biglow. He passed February 11, 2022, at his home in Clements, Calif.
Chuck was born a cowboy as he worked on many ranches during his lifetime as well as in the construction business. He was well-known to the East Bay and Central California team roping communities in the 1960’s and 70’s as he operated team roping arenas in Bethel Island as well as Knightsen. He took pride in making sure the ropers had good sandy ground, good cattle and ample parking. Chuck loved his roping arenas and his horses, but he loved his family even more.
Chuck was married to the former Nancy Faria for 60 years. They had three children: Russell Jon (Jessie) Biglow, Michael Ross Biglow and Heather Ann Cunningham. Also surviving him are eight grandchildren: Taylor Unke, Clayton Biglow, Maddie Biglow, Laura Bryant, Cole Biglow, Lane Farmer, Kyle Farmer Biglow and the late Brandon Farmer. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren: Cade Unke, Mazzie Unke and Calhan Biglow.
Chuck also had four siblings, Nancy McKinnon, Harold Biglow, Mary Bonde and Janet Splain.
