SHAFTER, CALIF. – Ropers gathered at the Thunderhead Ranch owned by Paul and Margueritte Mullins, to participate in a great event, the AIS Cancer Center Benefit Roping. This roping that is co-produced by Steve Hatcher and AIS, has become one that ropers always put on their calendars. The roping that took place on Saturday, April 4th, had 723 teams run for Cactus saddles, added cash and more. Kyle Cummings took home the high point saddle in the #4.5 Roping and Jason Perkins won the saddle given in the #6 Pick or Draw.
Roping payoff is per man.
