MaraShane Miller and Orral Block Take 1st in “Perfect 10”
The 7th annual “Perfect 10” Roping was held Saturday, March 31, at Horseman’s Park in Las Vegas, Nev. This was a qualifier for the World Series of Team Roping.
According to the roping producers, Jim and Doug Ericsson, the roping was “awesome,” with 302 teams, and Ben Tibbetts of Triple T providing excellent cattle.
Winning the “Perfect 10” roping were MaraShane Miller and Orral Block, taking home $70,000 per team as well as custom Scott Thomas saddles, Gist buckles and a qualification to the WSTR Finals in December in Las Vegas. Teams placing first through seventh in the average also qualified for the WSTR Finals.
John McCollum, Colter Bradshaw and Wayne Rowler received Gist buckles as the top #4 & under, #5, and #6 ropers, respectively.
The 7th annual “Lucky 13” saddle roping was held Friday, March 30, with 211 teams. Kylee Hash and Kolt Campbell won it with 21.47 on three steers. They won $5,050 and custom fully-tooled Scott Thomas saddles.
