The 12th annual Ernie Basso Memorial Roping was held Saturday, May 25 at Basso’s Arena in Livermore, Calif. Beautiful Cactus saddles were awarded to the first place high point #2.5 and Under roper and the high point #3 and Over roper.
Sunday, May 26 there were two more Memorial Ropings held. The first roping was the Jody De Maria with the buckles to average winners sponsored by the DeMaria family, Terrance Costa family and Rich Jack. The second roping of the day was the George Vieira with the buckles to the average winners sponsored by Livermore Stockmen’s Rodeo Assn. and Shirley Vieira.
