The Cattlewomen are so thankful to all of the ropers who continue to support this scholarship fundraiser. That being said, Colleen Enk announced 346 teams for the day.
Alan Gomes did the flagging, and Tanner Dye and his hard-working crew worked the chutes. Everyone did their jobs fantastically, including the San Luis Obispo Cattlewomen: Fran Tognazzini, Cheryl Gaye Rambo, Dakota Rodriguez, Roxanne Sanders, Jill Heely, Karen Rooney, Kathy Blackburn, Ramona Geoff, Linda Hansen and Carla Young.
The SLO Cattlewomen produced this roping and all proceeds go for scholarships. Thanks to all the sponsors, ropers, community and cattlewomen for donating their time — it takes a village!

The All Girl team of Tammy White and Alison Grantham walked away with the beautiful Red Bluff buckles in memory of cattlewoman Wendy Scalise, sponsored by Colleen and Gordon Hayes, Carla Young, Joanie Ketcham and Wendy Hall.
The Lil Cowpoke buckle, sponsored by Bob Grant, was won by Tyler Amos, assisted by Colton Miller.
The #12 Handicap Alex Madonna/Nealer Pryor roping was won by Cody Golding and Andy Holcomb. Rowly and Cathie Twisselman and the Pryor and Bobsin families jointly sponsored these buckles.
Lee Oliver and Ryan White won the #13 Brown/Bermudez roping. They received beautiful silver buckles sponsored by Susan and Jerry Diefenderfer and the Bermudez family.
The #11 Mixed Handicap Roping was won by Casey Yates and Ryan White. Best Ever Pads were sponsored by Ryan and Tammy White and Alison Grantham. This was a new roping this year and was well received.
Cody Snow and Jason Johe won the #15 Gene Rambo/Matt Silveira Memorial Roping. Sponsors Cheryl Gaye Rambo with granddaughter Dakota Rodriguez, and Tony and Justin Silveira donated toward these awards.
