WICKENBURG, ARIZONA – Rancho Rio was the site of the very popular “Las Vegas in Wickenburg” held each year prior to the NFR and World Series Finale that is typically held in Las Vegas in December. Due to COVID restrictions, the NFR and WSTR’s Vegas locations were moved, the NFR to Texas and the WSTR hosting Mega Qualifiers in Arizona and Texas.
Those cancellations and moves prompted the “Las Vegas in Wickenburg” to once again be a huge event with payout exceeding $1.9 million in cash and awards. The huge event ran from November 30th to December 8th (note, no roping on December 6th and December 7th-8th events took place at Dynamite Arena).
