MCCLOUD, CALIF. – The Bill “Whitey” Jespersen Memorial Roping was held August 1-2 at the Horseman’s Park in McCloud. Winners of the #4 Roping, Frank Johnson and Bob Johnson, received buckles sponsored by Ag Insurance. Ag Insurance also sponsored a saddle to the high point over 50 roper, Wes Hardin. Matt Jespersen, the high point roper of both days won a three day and two night stay for two. The winners of the #5.5 were Matt Jespersen and Wes Hardin, winning saddle pads.
