WINNEMUCCA, NV – The Western States Ranch Rodeo Association (WSRRA) will be holding its 9th Annual National Finals Thursday, Nov. 1 through Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018. This popular event will be held again in the Winnemucca, Nevada Event Center. The WSRRA continues to sanction ranch rodeo and ranch bronc riding events in sixteen states and Canada. There will be open division and women’s division ranch rodeo teams, the top 15 ranch bronc riders, women’s steer stoppers, and, new this year, 4D WPRA sanctioned barrel racing, junior steer riding, and Junior /Senior ranch teams. For the fifth year, the National Finals of the Professional Wild Horse Racers Association (PWHRA) will be held in conjunction with the WSRRA National Finals. The top six 3-man teams in the nation compete in six go arounds for the PWHRA world title. The PWHRA Finals has been a very exciting addition! Rodeo clown, Tuffy Gessling, will return to bring laughs and smiles all four days, as he did last year. Tickets are $12 at the door, kids under 12 free.
Enjoy the Buckaroo Christmas Gear and Trade Show, open every day Thursday through Sunday. This is a good time for Christmas shopping with quality craftsman and vendors. For the fourth year, enjoy the Great Basin Gathering, a special music, poetry and gear trading show. It will take place Nov 3. Tickets are $10 for the day. Tables available for people with trade gear. Saturday afternoon entertainers will be performing. All ages welcome. Also we have an open stage for anyone wanting to perform.
