10th Annual Legacy Ranch Horse Sale Draws Record Crowds and Strong Bids in Prescott, Arizona
Prescott, Arizona – September 13, 2025 – The 10th Annual Legacy Ranch Horse Sale, held Saturday at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds, marked a milestone year with record-breaking attendance, strong bidding, and a celebration of Western heritage. Hosted by K4 Ranches and Diamond A Cattle Company, the sale once again showcased working ranch horses from some of the most historic programs in the West.
Buyers from across the country gathered to bid on a select lineup of ranch-raised geldings, mares, prospects, and broodmares. Horses carrying generations of proven bloodlines and countless hours of ranch work changed hands, many heading to new homes where they’ll continue their legacy in arenas, on ranches, and with families.
The sale was held in conjunction with Olsen’s EquiFest and featured a highlight match roping between World Champion Tuf Cooper and young phenom Riley Webb, thrilling the crowd and adding to the excitement of the day.
“We couldn’t be more proud of what the Legacy Sale has become over the past 10 years,” said Sarah Kieckhefer of K4 Ranches. “This event is about more than selling horses —it’s about preserving ranching traditions, celebrating horsemanship, and connecting these incredible horses with the next generation.”
