Placerville, CA — Byron Gist, father of Gary of Gist Silversmiths, passed away comfortably at his home surrounded by family and friends on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013.
Byron, a well-respected horseman, will be greatly missed by all. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his name to Ropin’ Dreams, 323 Short Weyel Rd., Marion, TX 78124, or at ropindreams.com.
Services were held Dec. 17 at the Chapel of the Pines in Placerville, Calif. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Byron’s family and friends.
