 Lewis Feild, a five-time world champion and ProRodeo Hall of Famer, died Feb. 15 after battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer. He was 59.

Feild, who was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and lived in Elk Ridge near Payson, Utah, won his first all-around world title in 1985, becoming the first roughstock cowboy to do so since Larry Mahan in 1973.

Darwin W. Lamb, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in his home in Cedar City, Utah, on Sunday, January 24, 2016. Darwin was one of 12 siblings born to William and Marion Lamb in Alamo, Nevada, on April 20, 1932.

NEWMAN, CALIF. – The world of barrel racing has lost another of its legacy members. Carol Jane Pettit passed away the morning of July 17, 2015, at home surrounded by family members.

Carol was born Aug. 29, 1931, in Hollywood, Calif. Her adoptive parents operated a Gilmore gas station. She met her husband Wesley Olin Pettit while he was calf roping at the Los Angeles Coliseum. About 1960 they moved to central California.

 Dan Branco, who was the patriarch of a California family that has competed at the top level of ProRodeo for three generations, passed away Nov. 16 in Chowchilla, Calif., at the age of 84.

RENO, NEVADA – Rhonda Marie Garaventa, 35, peacefully passed to be with the Lord on Oct. 2, 2015, after a courageous battle with colon cancer, while surrounded by her family.
