The 10th Annual Average Joe Productions Finals, postponed from November, took place Jan 3–4, 2026, at the Paso Robles Event Ctr, rain included. Concerns over the date shift disappeared fast, this marked one of the biggest finals yet. Full cover, heaters on, top-tier footing, and a flawless setup by the PREC crew set the tone. Saturday opened with the Sponsor Roping, giving supporters a crack at the NFR setup. Rnd 1 went to Adrian Macias / Lane Karney 4.33. Avg champs were Justin Rhoades / Colton White 15.78, 2nd Adrian Macias / Lane Karney 17.14, 3rd Tucker Robinson / David Stark 17.98, 4th Chris Hanneken / Colt Mora 23.30.
This year also marked the first Cowboys for a Cause fundraiser, raising over $11,000 for a roping community member in need. Cactus Saddlery donated a saddle for the raffle, with Colleen Enk named the 2026 honorary.
Black Top Rodeo produced a massive dummy roping with five age divs, All-Girl, and Open, $1K added. Top five Open ropers returned for a rope-off, Spencer Mitchell locked it down.
